We took some time out.

Its been busy couple of months and we were overdue for a day out, so all the chores went on hold and we headed to the Museum.

Even though Matilda is still not 100% it was a great day (besides the delay getting  home, thanks Connex grrrr!) .  Just nice  to get out of the house and out of our routine, which was slowly starting to send me crazy.

On the way home I took the opportunity to have a little play with my camera :-)

The only trouble is playing takes time, and with 3 tired children to contend with, there was not very much of that. I need to take a day in the city, child free, to really have a good go with my camera. Who wants to come?.

Enjoy your week

Yeah, I know….

…no excuses.  Here is a quick run down of the past couple of weeks, in point form to keep it short.

Declans class performed at school assembly, they all did a fantastic job, it was a pleasure to watch.  He also received a weekly award for all his hard work in the classroom.

Steve and I celebrated 17 years as a couple and 12 years of marriage.  This is how we looked all those years ago.  This was taken back in 1992 when I was 17 and Steve 19.

Riley has been diagnosed with psoriasis :-( We have started a new cream and hopefully this will sort out his skin and make him more comfortable.  We also picked up his enrolment forms for school next year, Yippee!

Our photography course took a little field trip to Frankston. Despite the miserable weather, we had loads of fun, I could have stayed there for hours having a play with my camera.  Learnt so much and for the last couple of weeks I have only taken photos on Manual OMG!

Steve picked up a couple of utes full of wood for our fire :-)   He has spent most of the weekend cutting it up and by next winter it will be nice and dry and ready to get the house roasty toasty.

Miss Matilda is unwell, again.   She has a cough which last night bordered on croup and then today her temp hit 40.3 . The panadol has kicked in and she is a little brighter now. I just hope its nothing bad (or pig like! lol).

I also turned 1 year older, not wiser, just older.

Well there it is, short and sweet.  My scones have  come out of the oven and should be just cool enough to eat….mmmmmmm….. better whip that cream and get started.
